Scope and ContentLetter from Antoine Louis Rouillé (1689-1761), secretary of state for the Marine, to Renée Hardouineau (Madame Beauharnois de Beaumont), informing her that following the death of her brother-in-law, the governor Charles de La Boische, Marquis of Beauharnois (1671-1749), her sons are to receive support from King Louis XV: the elder, François, a pension of 600 pounds, and the younger, Claude-Charles de Beauharnois, Chevalier de Beauharnois (1717-1784), a pension of 400 pounds from Treasury funds.
