Scope and ContentWishing to take advantage of the new political regime established in France, the Acadian refugees appeal to the pensions committee (1774-1793, under Louis XVI) to persuade the National Assembly to consider claims for pensions that had been allocated during the Ancien Régime but paid out irregularly.
