Scope and ContentCe document regroupe divers inventaires de lettres concernant la Régence (1715-1723) de Louis XV rédigées par le secrétaire d'un important ministre (probablement l'abbé Dubois). Ces lettres concernent les relations entre la France et les différents royaumes d'Europe, les finances, la religion, la politique interne, la marine, le commerce, etc. De plus, une partie importante des lettres couvre la querelle janséniste autour de la bulle Unigenitus (dans les documents, on fait référence à la constitution apostolique Unigenitus). Les événements relatent la phase finale des affrontements entre le pape Clément XI et les évêques français jansénistes, dont le cardinal Louis-Antoine de Noailles. Ce dernier se verra forcé d'accepter la bulle sous les recommandations de l'abbé Dubois, ministre du régent.
