Scope and ContentItem written by a clerk during the Regency (1713-1723), between January 21 and July 4, 1721. It consists of a list of letters received by an important minister, probably Cardinal Guillaume Dubois (1656-1723), chief minister during the Regency. The letters, sent by private individuals, deal with various subjects, including diplomatic relations between France and other kingdoms of Europe, finance, religion, domestic politics, the navy, the colonies and trade.
