Scope and ContentOrder issued by the squadron leader and commander of the Marine in Toulon Pierre-André de Glandevès du Castellet (1689-1772), called the “commandeur de Glandevès,” to Louis de Rigaud de Vaudreuil, called the Chevalier de Vaudreuil (1728-1802), then a lieutenant-commander. Glandevès orders Vaudreuil, who had been a royal ensign on the ship Le Sage, now decommissioned, to return to the port of Rochefort.
