Scope and ContentMr. de Robert (Desrobert?), brigadier in the king’s army during the reign of Louis XV, explains in a letter the plan for his transfer to Maubeuge, in Perpignan, where he has been appointed local commandant. He notes that his packing cases are numbered 1 to 11 and gives instructions for their transport from one place to another. He also carefully lists the contents of the 11 cases (which include books, clothes, crockery and bottles of wine).NotesSource of title: based on the nature of the document.
