Scope and Content

This series focusses on the North West Company's accounting activities in Montreal between 1799 and 1820. It documents the partners' profits, the transportation of merchandise involved in fur trading, and the payment of services rendered to the company.

Source of title: Based on the contents of the series.

Physical condition/Conservation: Two bills of lading have been placed within inert plastic sleeves.

Language: The documents are in English and French, but primarily in English.
