Scope and ContentChamberry, ambassadeur à La Haye en octobre 1720, informe Philippe d'Orléans (1674-1723), alors régent de Louis XV (1710-1774), des négociations en cours entre les grands royaumes d'Europe. Les lettres traitent des affaires des États de Hollande, des déplacements du roi d'Angleterre, George Ier (1660-1727), de l'inquiétude générale concernant les intentions de l'empereur Charles VI (1685-1740) sur l'Italie et les successions de Parme et de Toscane, en plus de souligner l'irritation du roi d'Espagne, Philippe V (1683-1746), à propos de certaines propositions de la Cour de Vienne.NotesSource du titre : Basé sur la nature du document.
