Scope and ContentAppointment of George Wright to the position of armourer in the British army by General Charles Cadogan, 2nd Baron Cadogan (1684?-1776). Wright’s annual salary of 26 pounds was to be paid in quarterly instalments, starting July 1.
NotesSource of title: based on the nature of the document.



Signatures and inscriptions: signed “Cadogan”; a note at the bottom is signed “L. Smelt.”



Physical description: wax seal.



Physical condition: the paper of the first page is crimped by the print.
