Scope and ContentDischarge written and signed by Burgensis, notary and serjeant-at-law for the king of France, Francis I (1494-1547), confirming the reception by Thomas de Lavernot, quartermaster for the Duke of Orléans, of the sum of 20 crowns for services rendered, taken from the sale of the position of serjeant-at-law for Mauges, in the seneschalty of Anjou.
