Scope and ContentSums to be disbursed by Lewis Lewkenor and Thomas Howard Suffolk in preparing for the visit of the Duke of Bouillon, French ambassador to England. The Duke of Bouillon’s mission was to inform James I that Louis XIII was to marry Anne of Austria (1601-1666), Infanta of Spain. This list of expenses, presented in table form, was drawn up by Lewis Lewkenor, master of ceremonies to James I, king of England, Scotland and Ireland (1566-1625), and Thomas Howard Suffolk, a British politician.
