Daumont de Saint-Lusson

Explorers, Discoverers and Visitors set

Dr. Francis (Frank) J. Shepherd, a well-known surgeon and professor of anatomy, personified a regimental officer and explorer from late 17th-century Canada. He was partnered with Lady Van Horne for presentations to the Governor General. His photograph shows that this is not the original waistcoat, whose fabric was in fact identical to that of the character Henri de Tonti!
