Scope and ContentOrder issued to Jacques Corriveau, militia captain for the village of Saint-Jean, in the seigneury of Saint-Vallier, concerning the construction of a bridge over the Boyer River. The document is signed by Jean-Eustache Lanouiller de Boisclerc (1689?-1750), king’s councillor and chief road commissioner of New France. It is noted that the order was read and posted at the door of the parish church on March 25, 1749.
