Scope and ContentOrder issued to Jacques Corriveau, militia captain for the village of Saint-Jean, in the seigneury of Saint-Vallier, concerning the construction of a bridge over the Boyer River. The document is signed by Jean-Eustache Lanouiller de Boisclerc (1689?-1750), king’s councillor and chief road commissioner of New France. It is noted that the order was read and posted at the door of the parish church on March 25, 1749.NotesSource of title: based on the nature of the document.
