Scope and ContentCertificate of knighthood awarded to Marie-Armand-Frédéric-Parfait Vignon de Barnoux, Count of Servasca, by the king of France, Louis XVIII (1755-1824), and by Étienne Macdonald, grand chancellor of the Royal Order of the Legion of Honour. Étienne Macdonald, 1st Duke of Taranto (1765-1840), was a lieutenant-general during the French Revolution, marshal of the empire during the First Empire, and duke and peer of France during the Second Restoration.
