It focuses on concessions of land allocated in Quebec under special conditions, and in Halifax, Nova Scotia, through contracts and copies of contracts executed in the 1830s. It also contains information about the Land Question on the Island of St. John’s (now Prince Edward Island) in the form of a brochure produced in about 1782 for landowners, especially those serving in the British army or navy.
