Notes
Madame de Lanaudière
Lemoyne Family of Longueuil set
Élodie Barnard portrayed Marie-Catherine Lemoyne, daughter of Charles, the second baron of Longueuil, who was the second wife of Charles-François Tarieu de Lanaudière, an 18th-century colonial officer and seigneur, and son of the famous late-17th-century heroine Madeleine de Verchères. Although Élodie Barnard’s early 19th-century costume was a family heirloom, it was an anachronism, off by a half century!
