Scope and ContentJohn Bradstreet (1714-1774) obtient le grade de major honoraire de William Shirley (1694-1771), gouverneur du Massachusetts et commandant en chef des armées britanniques en Amérique du Nord. Né en Nouvelle-Écosse, Bradstreet se distingue durant la guerre de Succession d'Autriche (1740-1748) et la guerre de Sept Ans (1754-1763).
