Scope and ContentDemande faite devant un notaire et des témoins par Louis Mathieu Damours de Clignancourt (1699-1753), ancien officier dans les troupes de la Marine, fils de feu René Damours de Clignancourt (1660-?), ancien enseigne dans les troupes de la Marine, à sa mère Charlotte-Françoise Le Gardeur de Tilly (1670-1706), veuve de René Damours de Clignancourt. Louis Mathieu veut faire valoir son droit d'héritier, étant le seul enfant vivant, car il est impossible de prendre en considération sa sœur Angélique Damours de Clignancourt (?-1749) qui est une religieuse de la Congrégation de Notre-Dame de Montréal. Les témoins appartiennent tous à l'élite coloniale militaire, dont fait partie la famille Clignancourt.
