May Phillips’ shoes and veil
May Phillips repurposed some of her mother’s wedding attire from 1855 to portray the Princess Claudia in 1876. While her shoes cannot be seen in any of her photographs, the lines of stitching on the veil show up clearly in May’s portrait.
