Scope and ContentLetter in which Lieutenant-Colonel William Osborne Smith of the 3rd Battalion Victoria Volunteer Rifles of Montreal informs the commander of the active force, Colonel John Dye, that the 6th Battalion Volunteer Militia Rifles (identified as the Hochelaga Light Infantry) showed a lack of respect toward them during a manoeuvre at the Logan farm.
