Scope and ContentListe des dépenses militaires engagées par James Hughes (1738-1725), major de cantonnement de Montréal, entre le 18 septembre et le 24 octobre 1769, selon les ordres de Guy Carleton, 1er baron Dorchester (1724-1808), gouverneur général de la province de Québec. Signatures et inscriptions: une note de Guy Carleton certifée par Philip Skene et signée par Thomas Hughes indique que ce dernier a reçu 15 livres et 1 sol.
Classement: lors du traitement, les anciennes cotes 160.1 à 160.13 étaient regroupées dans le même dossier.
Source immédiate d'acquisition: collections de J.G. Bell & Sir Thomas Phillips.
