Scope and ContentThis document records payment of taxes by tenants of the Rouville-Campbell seigneury.NotesSource of title: based on the nature of the document.
Signatures and inscriptions: signed by A. G. Campbell, Joseph Cordellier, Hertel de Rouville, R. Boileau, Dumon, Jean Lachapelle. Judith Dufrost (?); d’Iberville’s signature on the first receipt.
Immediate source of acquisition: Rouville-Campbell seigneury fonds, gift of Dr. Luc d’Iberville-Moreau to the Stewart Foundation in 1999.
Physical description: group of 7 hand-sewn booklets.
Physical condition: poor; the document shows numerous cuts and tears, and one receipt is detached from the booklet; features a canvas cover apparently made from an item of recycled clothing.
