Necklace, rattle and roach
Jack Lowrey also wore this necklace and headpiece, known as a roach. The rattle is of Nehiyawak (Cree) origin. The considerable damage observable today on some of these objects is likely in part a result of how they were treated and considered at the time, as accessories for dress-up.
