Administrative History
The
Brothers-in-law Association was founded in April 1827. This dining club had
members such as Samuel Gale, James C. Grant, William Walker, J.S. McCord, W.
Badgley, H. Griffin, A. Bourret and C. Sweeny. The entrance fee was six bottles
of wine, and all members were lawyers. The last meeting was held on February
20, 1833.
Scope and Content
The
Brothers-in-law Association collection provides information on the activities
of that association.
The
collection consists of a minute book, a list of members and articles on the
association.
