Scope and ContentLetter from Major General David Wooster (1710-1777) of the Continental Army informing Major General Charles Lee (1732-1782) that he has sent three deserters from the Rogers’ Rangers regiment, serving the British army, to Colonel William Smallwood (1732-1792), in order that he extract information from them concerning the movements of the British army during the American War of Independence (1775-1783).
