Scope and ContentLe capitaine Francis Crispo, au nom des officiers du bataillon, explique les raisons qui justifient de remplacer le nom du bataillon Volunteer Militia Rifles par celui d'Hochelaga Light Infantry. Le changement de nom aura lieu 5 juin 1863. Au verso du document, Crispo demande au major de son bataillon, Murdoch Morison, la permission d’exercer les hommes de sa compagnie pour le bal prévu prochainement.
