Scope and ContentDocument in which James Murray (1721-1794), governor of Quebec, grants to Malcolm Fraser (1733-1815), lieutenant in the 78th Fraser Highlanders, the seigneury belonging to him at La Malbaie, which the new owner would call Mount Murray. This was one of the rare concessions of a seigneury made during the British regime according to the French tradition.
