Scope and ContentSworn statement in which Major General Edward Wolfe affirms that his wife Henrietta Wolfe (née Thompson) is entitled to the annuity of 90 pounds granted by the Royal Treasury in 1746. The Wolfes were the parents of General James Wolfe (1727-1759), who died in the Battle of the Plains of Abraham in September 1759 and whose victory would result in the capture of Quebec City a few days later.
