This series focusses on the legal actions taken by North West Company members against employees who failed to fulfil their contracts. It includes an interrogation and depositions that were conducted in Montreal in 1798. The series also contains a power of attorney, drawn up in Île-à-la-Crosse in 1802, authorizing William McKay to act on behalf of Alexander McKay for the adoption of new partnership terms.
