John Stuart
Thomson was the associate editor of the magazine The Gateway, an author and a former manager of The Pacific Mail
S.S. Co. in Hong Kong.
Scope and Content
The John
Stuart Thomson collection pertains to the author and his publications and
reveals David Ross McCord's interest in his work. The collection consists of
correspondence between Thomson and McCord, published works and photographs of
Thomson. It contains letters, newspaper clippings and magazines such as The Gateway and The Monetary Times Annual.
