Scope and ContentThis sub-sub-series relates to military administration in the Province of Quebec between 1740 and 1791. It focuses in particular on the management of troops, notably through inventories of provisions and arms, and on everyday regimental life. It also illustrates the system for acknowledging and rewarding officers through payment orders and letters of appointment.
