Scope and Content

This collection concerns the town of Berthier, the Quebec political scene and the Quebec clergy.

It contains two identical pages published to promote the town of Berthier. The attractions of living in Berthier are listed: transportation services, energy suppliers, etc. It also contains photographs that Mr. Daviault collected, most of which are portraits of political or religious figures. The four photographs that are not portraits are pictures of Trappist monks in Mistassini, the Montreal Court House, a map of Trois Rivières and a copy of an engraving of a building. The collection also includes photographs by Notman, Livernois, Quéry frères, Dumas, Montminy, Bazinet, Larin, Gregory, Grenier and Dominion Photographic Rooms.
