NotesThe Marquise de Fonseca
Lorraine Morgan of Montreal wore this French couture dress with vaguely historical references to portray an obscure Neapolitan revolutionary who married the Marquis de Fonseca in 1784. She had family connections to the Henry Morgan & Co. department store, which carried imports from Boué Soeurs, the source of her dress. Unfortunately, we have no photograph of her in costume.
