File
This file illustrates the regular collections developed by John Warden for the John Warden Boutique ready-to-wear line between 1967 and 1989, at the usual rate of two collections per year.
It is composed primarily of pencil, ink and watercolour drawings, most of which are annotated. These drawings are done on various types of paper in many different sizes. Fabric samples, buttons and decorations, and hand-written sheets of notes are attached to many of these drawings.
Posters and promotional items, clothing spec sheets, event programs, and contact information for associates and fashion show photographs complete this collection.
Supplied title proper: Title based on the contents of the file.
Physical description: The file is made up of many iconographic records, including 96 B&W and colour photographs.
Language: The documents are primarily in English, but several texts are in French.
