Engraved: The Victoria Bridge consists of 23 spans 242 ft each and 1 in centre 330 ft with a long abutment on each bank of the river. The tubes are iron 22 ft high, 16 ft wide and weigh 6,000 tns supported on 24 piers containing 250,000 tns of stone measuring 3,000,000 cubic feet extreme length 2 miles cost $5,000,000
