Biographical Sketch

H. A. F. MacLeod was a partner in the firm Henry and MacLeod. An engineer, MacLeod produced topographical maps for the Canadian Pacific Railway.


Scope and Content

The H. A. F. MacLeod fonds deals with the topographical surveys done by MacLeod in the Jasper National Park region of Alberta, in particular with respect to Maligne Lake and the Athabasca River. The fonds consists of a journal containing MacLeod's survey reports, as well as some notes on the climactic conditions, his times of arrival at the survey camp, etc.
